Welcome to the Clinton T. Walker Foundation
Dedicated to the loving memory of Clint Walker, The Clinton T. Walker Foundation is committed to bringing people together in an effort to help others who have been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (AS), and Autism to acquire life changing abilities by mentoring through Arts, Music, and Dance.
Never willing to give up, Clint Walker was an inspiration to others. He sought to make people unaware of his own condition. Clint was not diagnosed with AS, until he was approximately 10 years of age. At this time, AS was a rare diagnosis, and he was one of the first children, if not the first child, to be diagnosed with AS in Knoxville.
Acquiring an education and pursuing his quest for learning was not an easy task for him. Clint was very proud to obtain his certificate for massage therapy and open his own business, Total Massage and Energetic Body Works.
On April 12, 2008 from 8am until 12 noon, The Clinton T. Walker Foundation recognized the First Annual World Autism Awareness Day, by the "I Walk the Walk" Walk-a-thon which started at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church on Kingston Pike and traveled thru the Third Creek Greenway (Knoxville Tennessee Greenways).

Inspired by their love and dedicated to their son's memory, both Wanda and Tom Walker, with support from family and friends, are making efforts to ensure that Clint's name will not be forgotten and that other children with Asperger's Syndrome can learn and be inspired from the opportunities provided them by the Clinton T. Walker Foundation. Children diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome will be given mentoring and opportunities that will allow them to reach their full potential.
Mission Statement of CTW Foundation
The Clinton T. Walker Foundation will strive to promote Autism awareness and provide mentoring and opportunities for youth and adults who are disadvantaged or disabled in order for them to achieve self sustaining goals for education and for the arts.
